The Tire Air Pressure Affects Gas Usage
You need to check the air pressure in your tires once a month to make sure that they are not under-inflated or over-inflated. You should check your owner's manual to find out exactly how much pressure your tires need in order to be in flatted properly. A tire that is over inflated is more easily damaged when it is in contact with things like a pothole and can easily blow-out while you are driving. The over inflated tire puts a lot more drag on your vehicle causing you to use up much more fuel.
